Wide-Bill Tideflex Diffuser Valves (Series WB) ![]() TFD Wide Bill Design
TFD units for Multi-port Outfall Diffuser
After years of R&D and development of innovative fabrication equipment, Red Valve introduced Wide-bill Tideflex Diffuser Valves (Series WB). Series WB’s open up to and beyond the nominal port/riser diameter which means the headloss at peak flow is the same or less than the exit loss of the fixed-diameter port. No longer is there a need to size Tideflex Diffusers larger than the nominal port/riser size. As with all Tideflex Diffusers, the Series WB’s are inherently a variable orifice so the jet velocity is enhanced at all flows below peak flow.
