TMS in 3MG Standpipe (Tideflex jet flips ROV) This video shows a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) underwater inspection of a TMS in a 3MG standpipe in Massachusetts. Initially, the ROV is at the bottom of the tank. The Tideflex Series 39 outlet valves are shown, then the distribution pumps are called and the tank starts filling. Video shows the outlet valves closed. ROV travels up the vertical TMS riser to the Tideflex Inlet Nozzles. Tideflex are shown discharging water into the standpipe. Toward end of video, the ROV is maneuvered directly in front of one of the Tideflex and the jet is so strong that it flipped over the ROV!

TMS in a 0.55MG Circular Reservoir This video shows a TMS in a 0.55MG circular reservoir during the disinfection fill. The outlet check valves are installed near the tank penetration and the Tideflex Inlet Nozzles are located at the middle and far side of the tank. The quantity, size, and relative stiffness of Tideflex Inlet Valves and Waterflex Valves are custom-designed for each tank. Even at low flow rates the variable orifice of the Tideflex Inlet Nozzles maximizes jet velocity as compared to fixed-diameter pipes and ports. US Patent No. 7,104,279 |
